Cascade Feeds
Magill Ranch is proud to offer healthy, sustainable feeds for the animals you love and care for. We produce USDA Certified Organic, Corn and Soy Free feeds, using whole grains. We grow as much grain as possible on our own ranch, and purchase local Certified Organic grains directly from other farmers.
Our goal is to preserve the land for our future generations, which is why we us sustainable farming practices.
Beef
We raise our beef on natural pastures, which produces a tasty lean meat. Our cows and calves spend their days foraging and excercising.
By buying locally grown beef our members support sustainable farming practices that are beneficial for people and the environment. They also have the opportunity to eat the freshest, most nutritious beef available.
Chicken
Our chickens are Free Range chickens that are fed our Cascade Feeds Poultry Feed. Our chickens enjoy their days foraging as far from their shelter as they feel comfortable, no fences to keep them in a small area. They do have a shelter to keep them in cool when hot out and warm when cold out, and to protect them from some predators.
Eggs
Our eggs are from our own hens that have our Cascade Feed Layer anytime they want, and are free range during the day, so they get plenty of excercise and forage on what they want and need.
Vegetables
We produce Organic Vegetables for about 6-9 months out of the year. We pride ourselves in wonderful quality vegetables, and in varieties that you won't typically find at your local grocery store.
Milk
We also offer Raw Milk Herdshares. Because of state laws we can produce and sell Raw Milk legally, however we may not transport it or advertise it. So, we offer a herdshare, which means you buy part of our herd and pay board, and for that you get milk from "your" cow.
